What is Entry Summary?
Entry Summary documentation is required by law to enable U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess duties, collect statistics, and determine that other legal requirements are met.
Medium size importers who have experience of clearing their goods from customs.
A valid continuous bond on file with customs.
Filer code assigned by the CBP.
Customs record – Without a flaw.
CBP’s requirements for a self filer code are:
*Entry Volume: a monthly average for the past 12-month period of 15 entries.
*Entry Value: accept a total entered value during the past 12 months of 1,000,000$ or more.
If you don’t meet the requirements, unfortunately, you will now be able to file for a request, but you
can file an Entry Summary via our Broker Module.
Entry Summary must be filed before goods are released from customs at any U.S. border. Entry Summary can be filed together with ISF or separately later.
It’s now easy to handle your own customs from your mobile phone, tablet, or computer. Always know your filing status and pay significantly less.
Simply signup to eezyimport and insert the same information you would give an agent. It takes minutes, or even seconds for repeat shipments. Eezy!
